THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

  WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

   THUNDERSTORMS...SOME OF WHICH MAY PRODUCE...
    VERY HEAVY RAINFALL LEADING TO FLASH FLOODING.
    WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.
    HAIL TO GREATER THAN ONE INCH IN DIAMETER.

  AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING:

  SHOWERS AND ISOLATED STORMS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH MIDDAY.
  SCATTERED STORMS ARE THEN EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON.
  AREAS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80 AND EAST OF INTERSTATE 57 APPEAR
  TO HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR GREATER COVERAGE OF STORMS THIS
  AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT...ALONG WITH THE GREATEST CHANCE OF
  HEAVY RAINFALL AND SEVERE WEATHER.

  DISCUSSION:

  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DIMINISHED TO A FEW SHOWERS LATE
  THIS MORNING. REDEVELOPMENT OF SCATTERED STORMS IS EXPECTED
  THIS AFTERNOON...MAINLY ACROSS SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK
  AREA. STRENGTHENING WINDS ALOFT COULD RESULT IN SCATTERED SEVERE
  STORMS...CAPABLE OF STRONG WINDS AND HAIL. REGENERATING STORMS
  MOST CAPABLE OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AND POSSIBLE FLASH FLOODING
  WILL BE MOST FAVORED SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80...ESPECIALLY THE AREAS
  THAT SAW VERY HEAVY RAINFALL THIS PAST SATURDAY NIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS EARLY TUESDAY MORNING FOR AREAS
SOUTH OF A PONTIAC TO RENSSELAER LINE.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL OCCUR LATER IN THE
WEEK...MAINLY ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN FRIDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NECESSARY THROUGH TONIGHT.
