This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Strong winds will develop later today and increase overnight with
gusts between 30 and 40 mph possible, making travel difficult.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

The strong winds will persist into Tuesday.

Colder temperatures Friday and Saturday morning could reach the
freezing mark signaling the end of the growing season.

...Patchy Dense Fog Early This Morning...

Early morning travelers will encounter visibilities below one
quarter of mile in some locations this morning. Because of the
patchy nature of the fog, visibilities may change rapidly within
a short distance. Drivers are reminded to slow down if they
encounter the low visibilities.

The fog is expected to lift by 9 am.
