Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A complex of thunderstorms moving into the outlook area early this
morning will produce locally heavy rainfall, frequent lightning
and wind gusts up to 40 mph. Rainfall amounts of 1 inch or more
in less than an hour may cause some localized flooding.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible through the rest of the day.
Some of these storms could produce hail over 1 inch in diameter,
wind gusts over 60 mph and heavy rainfall.

Tonight, widespread thunderstorms are expected as a cold front
moves through the area. These storms may produce damaging winds
up to 70 mph and heavy rainfall. The Storm Prediction Center has
placed a slight risk for severe storms over most of the outlook
area for today and tonight.

Heavy rainfall tonight may lead to totals as high as 3 inches in a
few locations overnight, which could lead to flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
