ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

PATCHY LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE AND FOG FREEZING ON ROADS ARE
RESULTING IN LIGHT ICY ON ROADS...MAINLY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80.
ROAD TEMPERATURES ARE NEAR FREEZING...AND THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL
FOR A MORE PROLONGED PERIOD OF FREEZING DRIZZLE PERSISTING THROUGH
THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SLICK
CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY BRIDGES AND LESSER TRAVELED ROADS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE MIDWEST EARLY NEXT WEEK. IMPACTS
ON THE LOCAL AREA REMAIN UNCERTAIN AT THIS TIME. THOSE PLANNING
TRAVEL DURING THE HOLIDAY WEEK SHOULD STAY UP TO DATE WITH THE
LATEST FORECAST.
