This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois, east central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

Windy conditions are expected through this evening as a storm
system moves across the Great Lakes. Northwesterly winds will
gust 40 to 45mph at times through mid-evening before gradually
decreasing overnight. Travel may be difficult on north-south
oriented roadways such as I-55 and I-57.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* TIMING...Strong winds developing throughout central Illinois by
  late afternoon, continuing until evening, then diminishing
  gradually overnight

* WINDS...20 to 30 mph northwest winds with gusts to around 45
  mph

* IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions especially for high
  profile vehicles, as well as damage to small tree limbs.
  Lightweight objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans
  may be blown around.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 mph or gusts to 45 mph are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
