Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Very windy conditions will develop late this morning and through
the afternoon hours. Wind gusts to 45 mph are likely. A few gusts
to 50 mph cannot be ruled out. A wind advisory has been issued for
areas roughly along and west of a line from Manchester, Iowa to
Kewanee, Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

...Very windy conditions developing today...

.A fast moving storm system will move through the upper Midwest
and into the Great Lakes today. Strong winds on the back side of
the system will bring very windy conditions to the area late this
morning and afternoon.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM CST
THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 6 PM CST
this evening.

* Winds...Northwest 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph. A
  localized gust to 50 mph is possible.

* Timing...Starting late this morning and continuing through the
  afternoon.

* Impacts...Travel may be hazardous, especially for high profile
  vehicles. Lightweight unsecured objects will be blown around
  and thus should be secured if possible, such as holiday
  decorations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 mph or greater are
expected, which can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles.  Use extra caution if you are traveling.
