CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS...MAINLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
MAY BE CAPABLE OF BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

SOME STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80
THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING WITH THE MAIN THREAT BEING
DAMAGING WINDS. THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT IS LARGELY DEPENDENT ON
CLOUD COVER THROUGH THE DAY THURSDAY. SUFFICIENT SUNSHINE WOULD
INCREASE THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL ALSO
BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY.

EXPECT WINDY CONDITIONS DEVELOPING FRIDAY MORNING AND CONTINUING
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS. A WEST/NORTHWEST WIND WILL BE
SUSTAINED AROUND 25 MPH...WITH GUSTS APPROACHING 40 MPH.

EXPECT COLD CONDITIONS FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH LOWS IN THE MID TO
UPPER 30S. THE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BE STRONG ENOUGH TO PREVENT
WIDESPREAD FROST...ALTHOUGH WIND CHILLS VALUES ARE FORECAST TO BE
IN THE 20S AND 30S. COLD CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED AGAIN SATURDAY
NIGHT. LIGHTER WINDS WOULD FAVOR FROST...BUT THERE IS STILL
UNCERTAINTY ABOUT CLOUD COVER. STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER UPDATES AND
FORECASTS CONCERNING THIS FROST POTENTIAL FOR THE UPCOMING
WEEKEND.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT. SPOTTER
