...SNOW IS DIMINISHING THIS AFTERNOON

.A STORM SYSTEM HAS SPREAD ACCUMULATING SNOW ACROSS EASTERN
IOWA...NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND NORTHWEST AND WESTERN ILLINOIS.
LIGHT TO BRIEFLY MODERATE SNOW IS ENDING FROM WEST TO EAST THIS
AFTERNOON. SOUTHEAST WINDS WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 20 MPH THIS
MORNING MAY CAUSE LOCALIZED MINOR DRIFTING. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF
2 TO 4 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED OVER MUCH OF THE AREA BY EVENING.
THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS SHOULD OCCUR SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80.

* WIND...SOUTHEAST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...LESS THAN A MILE IN THE HEAVIER SNOW AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED AND HAZARDOUS ROADS AND LOW VISIBILITY
  IN HEAVIER SNOWFALL. DRIFTING SNOW POSSIBLE THIS MORNING.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLICK...SNOW

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA
FOR TODAY. PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF TODAY
WITH TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES FOR THE ENTIRE EVENT.
HOWEVER...THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80.
LIGHT SNOW OR FLURRIES WILL DIMINISH OR END FROM WEST TO EAST
THIS EVENING WITH LITTLE IF ANY ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SNOW...POSSIBLY MIXED WITH RAIN WILL OCCUR
MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY. AT THIS TIME LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF
SNOW APPEAR POSSIBLE...MAINLY SOUTHWEST OF A LINE FROM MANCHESTER
IOWA TO STERLING ILLINOIS.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY OR TONIGHT.
HOWEVER...REPORTS OF SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR MORE WILL
