This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois, southeast Illinois and west central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Showers and a few are possible at time this evening through tonight.
Locally heavy rain resulting in ponding of water is possible along
with dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning. The threat for severe
storms is low, but an isolated stronger storm capable of producing
damaging wind gusts or large hail cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Additional thunderstorms are expected Saturday through Sunday night,
which may also become severe. The timing of this severe weather
threat is more uncertain during this period.

South winds will gust from 30 to 40 mph on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be daily chances for showers and storms Monday through
Thursday. At this time, it is too early to determine the threat for
severe thunderstorms.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this evening.

Expected storm motion is toward the northeast around 50 mph.
