This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will develop this afternoon
and continue through this evening. The main hazard will be locally
heavy rain, which could result in pockets of poor drainage
flooding. Gusty winds will occur with some storms.

South of a line from Poplar Bluff Missouri, to Cape Girardeau
Missouri, to Madisonville Kentucky, heat index values will be from
100 to 105 degrees before the storms develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Thunderstorms may linger into Friday, mainly across western
Kentucky. A few storms may produce heavy rain and gusty winds.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.
