...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST
SUNDAY...

* TIMING...SNOW IS EXPECT TO BECOME WIDESPREAD BY LATE TONIGHT AND
  CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY MORNING. THE SNOW IS THEN EXPECTED TO
  TAPER OFF TO FLURRIES SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATIONS...TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES IS EXPECTED.

* WINDS...WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST AT 5 TO 15 MPH.

* IMPACTS...THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES... OVERPASSES...AND
  UNTREATED ROADS. PARKING LOTS AND SIDEWALKS WILL BECOME
  SLIPPERY AS WELL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT UP TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW IS
EXPECTED ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. ROADS MAY RAPIDLY BECOME
SLIPPERY ONCE THE SNOW BEGINS...SO MOTORISTS SHOULD PLAN FOR A
SLOWER THAN NORMAL TRIP. BE ESPECIALLY ALERT WHEN APPROACHING
BRIDGES...OVERPASSES...AND CURVES.

CENTRAL MISSOURI AS WELL AS WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BECOME LIKELY BY LATE TONIGHT WITH MINOR
ACCUMULATIONS BY MORNING. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY GOES INTO
EFFECT FOR LATER TONIGHT FOR THE ENTIRE AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SNOW WILL CONTINUE SUNDAY MORNING...TAPERING OFF SUNDAY
AFTERNOON. ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM UP TO 4 INCHES ACROSS
PARTS OF WEST-CENTRAL ILLINOIS DOWN TO AROUND 1 INCH IN CENTRAL
MISSOURI. THERE MAY ALSO BE SOME SLEET AND FREEZING DRIZZLE LATE
SUNDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON ACROSS PARTS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY CONTINUES IN EFFECT FOR THE
ENTIRE AREA SUNDAY.
