This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited Thunderstorm Risk mainly south of I-80.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are possible primarily south of I-80 late
this afternoon into the evening. A few strong to severe thunderstorms
may affect areas near and south of US-24. The main threat with
any severe thunderstorm is damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph.
Isolated instances of hail up to one inch in diameter are possible
as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday Night through Sunday Night...
  Limited to Elevated Frost and or Freeze Risk outside of Chicago.


.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter reports from areas near and south of US-24 may be needed in
  the late afternoon and evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

  Moving toward the east-northeast around 40 mph.
