HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * HEAVY SNOW...10 TO 15 INCHES STORM TOTAL. HEAVY SNOW IS
   EXPECTED TODAY.

 * BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON INTO
   TONIGHT.

IMPACTS...

 * PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW WITH BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW MAKING
   TRAVEL DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE. SOME UNPLOWED ROADS WILL
   BECOME IMPASSIBLE.

 * BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT.

 * VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO NEAR ZERO AT TIMES IN HEAVY
   SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

TIMING...

 * SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TODAY AND THEN END FROM WEST TO EAST
   LATE TONIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TODAY.

CONFIDENCE...

 * CONFIDENCE IS HIGH THAT HEAVY SNOW WILL OCCUR. HOWEVER THERE
   IS MEDIUM CONFIDENCE WITH RESPECT TO AMOUNTS AND THE EXACT
   LOCATION OF THE HEAVIEST SNOW.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR
OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL
MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST

A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF THE FORECAST AREA
FROM TODAY THROUGH LATE TONIGHT. THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY SNOW AND
INCREASING NORTHEAST WINDS WILL RESULT IN EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS
TRAVEL CONDITIONS TODAY THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING DUE TO
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. PLEASE SEE THE
WINTER STORM PRODUCT (WSWIWX) ISSUED FROM THIS OFFICE FOR MORE
INFORMATION.
