This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Outlook: A few strong thunderstorms are possible tonight.

Hazards: Gusty winds...hail...lightning...heavy rainfall. Max heat
indices this afternoon will be in the mid 90s over western Indiana.

Timing: Storms mainly tonight. Max heat indices this afternoon.

Discussion: An upper level wave may bring a few strong thunderstorms
into the northwest half of Indiana tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Outlook: Thunderstorm activity is possible from Monday through
Tuesday evening. The potential exists for isolated severe storms from
Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy amounts of rain are
also possible during this time.

Heat index values may approach the mid and upper 90s Monday

Discussion: A frontal system is expected to move across the area
around Tuesday, resulting in chances for showers and thunderstorms,
and the possibility of severe storms. In the wake of the front, a
drier and more stable air mass will move into the area for the middle
and later portions of the week.
