This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: There is a SLIGHT RISK for severe weather today and tonight. Showers
and thunderstorms are expected today and tonight. Some storms could
produce heavy rain resulting in flooding. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH remains
in effect for all of Central Indiana.

Timing: Flooding threat all day. Severe weather risk late this
afternoon and evening.

Hazards: Locally Heavy Rainfall leading to Flooding. Damaging winds.
Large hail. Lightning.

Discussion: A warm front will continue to push north across Central
Indiana Today. The front along with warm and moist air will result
in showers and storms. More showers and storms are expected tonight
as a cold front arrives in the area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Outlook: A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect through Monday morning for
all of central Indiana. Widespread river flooding is expected into
next week.

Discussion: Mainly light rain showers and cooler weather is expected
during the work week ahead. River Flooding is expected due to the
heavy rains of the past weekend.

VERMILLION...PUTNAM...NORTHERN SHELBY...SOUTHERN CLINTON...NORTHERN
SULLIVAN...HENDRICKS...CLAY AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES...

At 1233 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges was showing
from 2 to 5 inches of rain has fallen over the warning area this
weekend. Meanwhile, another area of moderate to heavy rain was
moving in from east central Illinois.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Indianapolis, Terre Haute, Crawfordsville, Carmel, Fishers,
Noblesville, Greenwood, Lawrence, Plainfield, Franklin, Brownsburg,
Greenfield, Lebanon, Beech Grove, Zionsville, Martinsville, Speedway,
Greencastle, Mooresville and Danville.

Additional rainfall amounts of more than an inch are possible
through tonight in the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

...Flash Flood Watch through Monday Morning...

.A frontal boundary over Central Indiana will be the focus for
showers and thunderstorms tonight across Central Indiana. Some of
the showers and storms could produce heavy rain and flooding.
More heavy rain is possible today and tonight as a strong cold
front interacts with record deep moisture for late April.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central Indiana, east central Indiana, north
  central Indiana, south central Indiana, southeast Indiana,
  southwest Indiana, and west central Indiana, including the
  following areas, in central Indiana, Bartholomew, Boone,
  Clinton, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard,
  Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby, and Tipton. In
  east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry, and Randolph. In north
  central Indiana, Carroll. In south central Indiana, Brown,
  Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings.
  In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, and
  Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Fountain, Montgomery,
  Owen, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo, and Warren.

* Through Monday morning

* Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected through tonight on
  top of rain that has already fallen. A few more inches of rain
  are possible over all or parts of the watch area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
