ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY...AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

COLD AIR INCOMING...COMBINED WITH GUSTY WINDS...WILL PRODUCE WIND
CHILLS IN THE 30S...OR EVEN UPPER HALF OF THE 20S...FOR THE EARLY
TO MID EVENING HALLOWEEN FESTIVITIES.

A FREEZE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR LOW TEMPERATURES FORECAST BELOW
FREEZING LATE TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL BEGIN TO DROP BELOW
FREEZING SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT AND ALL AREAS SHOULD SEE AT LEAST
A COUPLE HOURS AT FREEZING BY LATE IN THE NIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A FREEZE WARNING CONTINUES THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY
MORNING FOR A WIDESPREAD FROST AND FREEZE. REFER TO THE FREEZE
WARNING FOR DETAILS.

A SMALL CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS RETURNS TO THE FORECAST TUESDAY

A FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT TO
8 AM CST SUNDAY.

* TONIGHT... TEMPERATURES WILL BEGIN THEIR DROP BELOW FREEZING
  SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT. SOME WIND AND CLOUD WILL LIMIT THE
  DEVELOPMENT OF FROST TONIGHT...BUT ALL AREAS WILL SEE
  TEMPERATURES BELOW FREEZING AT LEAST A COUPLE HOURS.

* SATURDAY NIGHT... TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BELOW FREEZING BY MID
  EVENING AND ALL AREAS WILL SEE TEMPERATURES BELOW FREEZING FOR A
  BULK OF THE NIGHT TIME HOURS. WITH SKIES CLEAR AND WINDS
  CALM...A WIDESPREAD FROST WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION
  SATURDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS... COLD TEMPERATURES LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY
  MORNING WILL DAMAGE SENSITIVE PLANTS LEFT UNCOVERED OUTDOORS.
  MODERATE TO HEAVY FROST EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY
  MORNING WILL ALSO DAMAGE PLANTS. THESE COLD TEMPERATURES WILL PUT
  AN END TO THE OUTDOOR GROWING SEASON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZE WARNING MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT OR
HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER
SENSITIVE VEGETATION.
