THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH SUNSET.
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN IS THE MAIN CONCERN.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE LATE THIS EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT AS A COLD FRONT BEGINS TO SINK SOUTHWARD INTO THE
REGION. A STRONG STORM OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT.

HEAT INDICES ARE EXPECTED TO EXCEED 100 DEGREES ACROSS THE REGION
INTO EARLY THIS EVENING...AND MAY PEAK AT 105 DEGREES IN ISOLATED
LOCATIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL END FROM NORTH TO SOUTH DURING
THE DAY MONDAY. A STRONG STORM OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT IN THE
AFTERNOON.

A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS FORECAST FOR ALL...OR A PORTION OF THE
AREA FROM THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. WHILE A FEW STRONG STORMS
CANNOT BE RULED OUT...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LIGHTNING WILL BE
THE PRIMARY CONCERNS.
