This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow is expected
tonight across the entire outlook area. Ice accumulations up to
two-tenths of an inch are possible. Snow and sleet accumulations
upwards of 1 to 2 inches are possible in a zone extending from
central to far northeast Kansas. Freezing drizzle may also be
possible tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Areas of freezing rain, sleet, and snow will transition to
freezing drizzle during the morning hours. Additional daytime ice
accumulations of up to around one-tenth of an inch will be
possible.

Another round of freezing drizzle and freezing rain will be
possible late Friday night into Saturday morning mainly for areas
north of I-70.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...A wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain is
  forecast to overspread the area tonight. Snow and sleet
  accumulations of one to two inches are possible across portions
  of central to northeast Kansas, with less than one inch expected
  elsewhere. Ice accumulations of one tenth to two tenths of an
  inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central and northeast Kansas.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The wintry mix of precipitation will result
  in difficult travel conditions, including during the morning
  commute on Thursday. Be prepared for slick and hazardous road
  conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
