A few severe storms this morning into the early afternoon may produce hail to quarter size and isolated damaging wind gusts, mainly across north central and central Kansas. Additional thunderstorms are expected to develop west of Concordia and move into the area this evening, primarily impacting north central and portions of northeast Kansas. Some of the storms could be severe with large hail and damaging wind gusts. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Severe thunderstorms may develop Friday afternoon and evening, mainly in northeast and east central Kansas. Additional, scattered severe thunderstorms will move northeast into the region Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Very large hail, damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes are possible with these storms on both days. Locally heavy rainfall amounts could result from these multiple rounds of thunderstorms.
