THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HEAT INDICES AROUND 100 DEGREES WILL AFFECT SOUTHEAST KANSAS
THIS AFTERNOON.

THUNDERSTORMS CHANCES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE FOR AREAS WEST OF
INTERSTATE 135 THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE OVER CENTRAL KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON. SMALL
HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 50 TO 55 MPH ARE THE MAIN CONCERN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE FOR THE ENTIRE AREA FROM WEST
TO EAST THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH THE MOST WIDESPREAD
ACTIVITY THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS WITH...SMALL HAIL...WIND GUSTS OF 50 TO 55 MPH AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL ARE POSSIBLE.
