This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms this evening, mainly
in parts of south central and southeast Kansas. If so, large hail
up to golf ball size will be the primary threat with damaging winds
to 60 mph and a tornado also possible. The greater risk for storms
is expected to shift into northeast Kansas after midnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a chance for strong to marginally severe storms over
southeast Kansas Thursday morning, capable of dime size hail and 50
to 60 mph winds.

Thunderstorm chances may return to the region by early next week,
although it remains too early to speculate on severe weather
chances.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is a remote possibility this evening in south
central Kansas and the Flint Hills.
