WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI...AS WELL AS EXTREME EASTERN KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

 THERE IS AN ENHANCED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON AS HUMIDITY LEVELS
 FALL TO 20 TO 25 PERCENT. HOWEVER...WINDS SHOULD BE LIGHT ENOUGH TO
 PREVENT A CRITICAL WILDFIRE DANGER.

 THE FIRE DANGER MAY BE ENHANCED WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON DUE TO STRONG
 AND GUSTY WINDS AND HUMIDITY LEVELS FALLING TOWARDS 30 PERCENT.

 THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.
 THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER OVER FAR NORTHWEST
 MISSOURI LATE WEDNESDAY EVENING. LARGE HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS ARE THE
 PRIMARY THREATS. ADDITIONALLY...LOCALIZED HEAVY RAIN AND MINOR
 FLOODING IS POSSIBLE.

TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RISE INTO THE 70S WHILE RELATIVE HUMIDITY
VALUES WILL DROP TO OR SLIGHTLY BELOW 25 PERCENT. THIS WARM AND VERY
DRY AIR WILL COMBINE WITH NORTHEAST WINDS OF 10 TO 12 MPH TO YIELD A
SLIGHTLY INCREASED RISK FOR WILDFIRES THIS AFTERNOON. INTERESTED
PARTIES SHOULD MONITOR CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON.
