Another cold night is expected as temperatures drop off into the 25 to 30 degree range for most. Although the growing season has not officially began, per coordination with state ag partners, early blooming vegetation will likely be harmed or killed by this hard freeze. Gusty southwest winds between 20 and 30 mph with occasional gusts between 30 and 40 mph are expected on Tuesday, mainly from late morning through the early evening. Use caution if planning to be outdoors or driving a high profile vehicle. In addition to the strong and gusty winds, the airmass will be very dry resulting in low relative humidity. The combination of these breezy conditions and dry air will result in increased fire danger Tuesday, and possibly again into Wednesday. Outdoor burning is not recommended as any fire could grow out of control under these conditions. $$ BJS
