...FLOODING RAINS POSSIBLE ACROSS CENTRAL KENTUCKY...

.A PERIOD OF MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED
FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH MIDDAY WEDNESDAY. RAINFALL TOTALS
WILL RANGE FROM AN INCH AND A HALF TO MORE THAN 2 INCHES. THE
HEAVIEST RAIN IS EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL KENTUCKY. THIS
RAINFALL ON GROUND ALREADY SATURATED FROM RECENT SNOW MELT WILL
RESULT IN FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS.

* FLOOD WATCH FOR ALL OF CENTRAL KENTUCKY.

* FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

* HEAVY RAINFALL OF AN INCH AND A HALF TO MORE THAN 2 INCHES...ON
  SOILS SATURATED FROM RECENT SNOW MELT.

* FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AND POORLY DRAINED AREAS IS LIKELY. MINOR
  FLOODING ON SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE

INDIANA AND CENTRAL KENTUCKY WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT DUE TO
ACCUMULATING SNOW. A VERY STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL INTERACT WITH
AN ARCTIC AIR MASS...RESULTING IN A SWATH OF SNOW ACROSS THE AREA.
