This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Louisiana, south central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west
central Louisiana, and southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A band of showers and thunderstorms will progress east across the
area this morning. Activity is expected to move east of the
Atchafalaya Basin early this afternoon.

Severe weather is not expected, but a few storms could produce
brief strong gusts. Some storms will also produce brief locally
heavy rainfall, as well as occasional cloud to ground lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Another low pressure system will move through the area Friday into
Saturday, bringing the next chance for showers and a few
thunderstorms. At this time, severe weather is not anticipated.

Spotter activation will not be needed.
