WIDESPREAD LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WILL CONTINUE ACROSS CENTRAL
LOUISIANA INTO SOUTHEAST TEXAS FROM THE LAKES REGION TO THE COAST
AND FURTHER OFFSHORE. HOURLY RAINFALL TOTALS OF UP TO ONE QUARTER
OF AN INCH CAN BE EXPECTED...WITH AMOUNTS APPROACHING AN INCH OVER
THE NEXT FEW HOURS. PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS WITH MINOR
FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS CAN BE EXPECTED. ACROSS SOUTHWEST AND
SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...AREAS OF RAIN WILL GRADUALLY BECOME MORE
WIDESPREAD INTO EARLY AFTERNOON WITH RAINFALL TOTALS OF OF UP TO
ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH OR LESS EXPECTED.

GULF OF MEXICO...CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
A SURFACE LOW WILL TRACK ACROSS THE NORTHERN GULF PULLING A WARM
FRONT ALONG AND AHEAD OF THIS LOW. RAINS WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES
MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF THE I-10 CORRIDOR. RAINS ENDING THIS
EVENING AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH THIS EVENING.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
COOLER AND DRIER WEATHER OVER THE WEEKEND. RAINS RETURN BACK
ON TUESDAY. CHRISTMAS IS LOOKING LIKE MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND
TEMPERATURES INTO THE MID 60S IN THE DAYTIME ALTHOUGH THE DAY
WILL SEE TEMPERATURES START OUT IN THE LOWER 40S.
