EASTERN CAMERON AND THEN OUT INTO THE GULF SOUTH OF SABINE PASS.
STORMS ARE MOVING EASTWARD AND WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO
GROUND AND CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING STRIKES.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE NORTHWEST
GULF OF MEXICO...CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL STALL OUT OVER THE COASTAL WATERS
THIS WEEKEND AND WILL SERVE AS THE PRIMARY FORCING MECHANISM FOR
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY. PRIMARY HAZARD WILL BE LIGHTNING
STRIKES IN AND AROUND THUNDERSTORMS WITH SOME MINOR STREET
FLOODING POSSIBLE LOCALLY AS SHOWERS DEVELOP. OVER THE COASTAL
WATERS...WINDS WILL BE LIGHT AND OUT THE SOUTHWEST. SEAS WILL BE
1-2 FEET. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY ARE NOT EXPECTED TO
BE SEVERE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
THE STALLED FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL CAUSE SHOWERS THROUGHOUT THE
WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE CUMLATIVE EFFECT OF THE
RAINFALL COULD CAUSE SOME MINOR STREET FLOODING ALTHOUGH ONLY 0.5
TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED. ADDITIONAL HAZARDS ARE
LIGHTNING STRIKES IN THUNDERSTORMS ALONG WITH GUSTY WINDS.
