  DIMINISHING TO 2 TO 4 FEET DURING THE AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THIS GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 35 TO 40 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 21 TO 33 KNOTS
ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS WAVE CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT.
INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER
VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

THROUGH AT LEAST EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE STRONGEST WINDS AND
RESULTING WAVES WILL BE ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE. A GALE WARNING IS
IN EFFECT THIS MORNING...WHICH WILL THEN TRANSITION TO A SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORY LATER THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON WITH THE
GRADUALLY WEAKENING WINDS TODAY. PLEASE READ THE LATEST MARINE
WEATHER MESSAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
