.STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP OVER WESTERN LAKE THIS
AFTERNOON IN THE WAKE OF A DEPARTING CANADIAN CLIPPER. THE WINDS
WILL REMAIN STRONG THROUGH MOST OF TONIGHT AND WEAKEN INTO
TUESDAY.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 21 TO 33 KNOTS
ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS WAVE CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT.
INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER
VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong northwest flow will develop over western Lake Superior
this afternoon and continue through most of tonight. The winds
will weaken later tonight into Tuesday morning. The winds and
waves will cause hazardous conditions for small craft this
afternoon through late tonight. Please see the latest marine
weather message for more information.
