...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM FRIDAY TO 2 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and waves
  7 to 10 ft expected.

* WHERE...Lake Superior West of Line from Manitou Island to
  Marquette MI Beyond 5NM from shore, Lake Superior East of a
  line from Manitou Island to Marquette MI and West of a line
  from Grand Marais MI to the US/Canadian Border Beyond 5NM from
  shore and Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish
  Point MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Friday to 2 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
