...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow will continue tonight into Wednesday morning. Plan
  on slippery road conditions. Additional snow accumulations of
  2 to 5 inches are expected.

* WHERE...In New York, southern Washington County and eastern
  Rensselaer County. In Massachusetts, Northern Berkshire County.

* WHEN...Until noon EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
  times. Maximum snowfall rates up to one half inch per hour
  expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM EST WEDNESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 7 AM to 7 PM EST Wednesday.

* Locations...Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys, eastern Catskills,
  Greater Capital District, northern and central Taconics and
  Berkshires.

* Winds...West to northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing...7 AM to 7 PM Wednesday.

* Impacts...Downed trees, tree limbs and power lines. Scattered
  power outages are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be
31 to 39 mph or gusts will range between 46 and 57 mph. Winds of
these magnitudes may cause minor property damage without extra
precautions. Motorists in high profile vehicles should use
caution until the winds subside.
