...Areas of black ice tonight and into early tomorrow morning...

Wintry precipitation is coming to an end across the region.
However, temperatures will continue to fall below freezing during
the overnight hours. allowing for any standing water or slush to
freeze. Thus icy spots are possible tonight especially across any
untreated roadways and sidewalks.

Motorists should use caution if traveling tonight or early Friday
morning.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Connecticut, central
Massachusetts, eastern Massachusetts, northeastern Massachusetts
and western Massachusetts.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A mix of snow and sleet midday into evening will result in hazardous
travel conditions with slick roadways if left untreated and reduced
visibility. Snow accumulations of a coating on up to around 2 inches
are forecast.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Late Friday into Friday night and again Saturday night into Sunday...

Especially across northern and western Massachusetts high terrain,
there is the threat of freezing rain along with ice accretion on the
order of one to two tenths that would require winter weather
advisories.
