THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN
MASSACHUSETTS...NORTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS AND SOUTHEASTERN
MASSACHUSETTS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

ACCUMULATING SNOW IS POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT INTO MIDDAY FRIDAY
ACROSS EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS. THIS INCLUDES CAPE ANN...METRO
BOSTON...PLYMOUTH COUNTY AND THE UPPER CAPE WHERE TEMPERATURES
WILL BE COLD ENOUGH TO SUPPORT SNOW. EARLY INDICATIONS ARE FOR A
MODERATE RISK /30-60 PERCENT/ OF 2-4 INCHES OF SNOWFALL. HOWEVER
THERE IS SOME UNCERTAINTY ON EXACTLY WHERE THIS SNOW BAND WILL
SETUP ALONG WITH ITS DURATION AND INTENSITY. THEREFORE A FORECAST SHIFT
IN AS LITTLE AS 25 MILES WOULD RESULT IN MOST OF THE SNOW REMAINING
OFFSHORE WITH LITTLE IMPACT TO EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS. THERE IS A
LOW RISK /UP TO 30 PERCENT/ THAT IF THE SNOW BAND IS PERSISTENT UP
TO 6 INCHES OF SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE. STAY TUNED TO LATER FORECASTS
AND DISCUSSIONS REGARDING THIS POTENTIAL SNOW EVENT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
