SATURDAY...

* LOCATIONS...ESSEX COUNTY. THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF LAWRENCE
  AND GLOUCESTER.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 8 INCHES.

* TIMING...MAINLY LIGHT SNOW TODAY...BUT A PERIOD OF HEAVIER
  SNOW IS LIKELY AT TIMES TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS DUE TO SNOW COVERED
  ROADS. POOR VISIBILITIES POSSIBLE TONIGHT AS GUSTY WINDS
  DEVELOP. ALSO ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL OF 4 TO 7 INCHES WILL
  INCREASE SNOW LOADING/STRESS ON ROOFS.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN AN AVERAGE OF 6 OR MORE
INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED IN A 12 HOUR PERIOD...OR FOR 8 OR MORE
INCHES IN A 24 HOUR PERIOD. TRAVEL WILL BE SLOW AT BEST ON WELL
TREATED SURFACES...AND QUITE DIFFICULT ON ANY UNPLOWED OR
UNTREATED SURFACES.

NORTH CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE
NEEDED.

SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY...ANOTHER STORM MAY BRING ACCUMULATING
SNOW TO THE REGION. HOWEVER...THE TRACK OF THIS LOW REMAINS IN
QUESTION. LOW CONFIDENCE AT THIS TIME.
