...Spotty Light Freezing Rain Possible Across Northern
Massachusetts Tonight...

Spotty light rain or sprinkles may produce patchy ice on road and
walking surfaces across interior northern Massachusetts tonight,
mainly along and north of the route 2 corridor where temperatures
may slip to freezing. The risk of spotty freezing rain will be
highest between 10 PM tonight and 6 AM Saturday. Although only
spotty and very light precipitation is expected, it takes only a
little amount of freezing rain on bare and untreated surfaces to
make driving and walking treacherous.

Drivers across northern Massachusetts should exercise extra
caution if any precipitation is encountered tonight and check to
see if the rain is freezing upon road surfaces.
