...SCATTERED BUT LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS MAY RESULT IN SOME
UNTREATED ROADWAYS QUICKLY BECOMING SNOW COVERED...

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO OVERSPREAD WESTERN
MASSACHUSETTS AND NORTHERN CONNECTICUT EARLY THIS
MORNING...INCLUDING THE HARTFORD AND SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN
AREAS. UNTREATED ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY IN
THIS REGION FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE.

THESE SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS SHOULD WORK INTO EASTERN
MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND BY LATE MORNING AND EARLY
AFTERNOON. WHILE MUCH OF THE ACTIVITY WILL BE LIGHT...LOCALIZED
HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS MAY RESULT IN A QUICK INCH OR TWO OF SNOWFALL
IN A SHORT TIME. THIS WOULD RESULT IN ROADS QUICKLY BECOMING SNOW
COVERED AND BRIEFLY POOR VISIBILITY.

LOCALIZED HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATER THIS
MORNING...BUT SOMEWHAT OF A HIGHER RISK THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO
THE EARLY EVENING BEFORE COMING TO AN END. MOTORISTS TRAVELING
TODAY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND BRIEFLY POOR
VISIBILITY.
