...Showers and thunderstorms will move into western Massachusetts
and northern Connecticut this evening...

A line of showers and thunderstorms moving into eastern New York
will reach western Massachusetts between 7 and 8 pm, then northern
Connecticut after 8 pm. While some weakening of this line is
expected as it moves into southern New England, some storms may
produce heavy rainfall and gusty winds with a low risk for an
isolated damaging wind gust.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Connecticut, all of
Massachusetts except Berkshire County, and Rhode Island.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A few strong storms with gusty winds may develop this evening across
the CT valley region.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Low confidence on reaching wind advisory criteria on Sunday. This
would mainly impact the higher elevations of central and western MA.

We will continue to watch the river levels of the lower Connecticut
river. The combination of snowmelt and heavy rain this weekend may
rise the river to above action stage.
