EXPECTED TODAY...

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP THROUGH MID MORNING ACROSS
SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND AND CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON. THE ACTIVITY
WILL BE HIT AND MISS WITH MOST LOCATIONS RECEIVING JUST A COATING
TO LESS THAN 1 INCH OF NEW SNOW. HOWEVER...A FEW LOCALIZED
HEAVIER SNOW SQUALLS ARE POSSIBLE LATER THIS MORNING AND
AFTERNOON. ANY LOCALIZED SNOW SQUALLS MAY PUT DOWN A QUICK INCH OF
SNOW...RESULTING IN ROADS QUICKLY BECOMING SNOW COVERED ALONG WITH
BRIEFLY POOR VISIBILITY AND GUSTY WINDS.

MOTORISTS TRAVELING TODAY SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING
VISIBILITY AND ROAD CONDITIONS IN ANY HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS/SQUALLS
THAT DEVELOP. THE ACTIVITY WILL COME TO AN END THIS EVENING.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. A FEW
HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS MAY RESULT IN A QUICK 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW
ACCUMULATING IN A SHORT PERIOD WITH ROADS BECOMING SNOW COVERED
QUICKLY.

BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR THIS
WEEKEND...WITH WIND CHILLS LIKELY TO REACH WIND CHILL ADVISORY
CRITERIA. THERE IS A MODERATE PROBABILITY THAT WIND CHILLS MAY
EVEN REACH WARNING CRITERIA /-25 DEGREES/ ESPECIALLY INLAND SATURDAY
NIGHT. RECORD COLD TEMPERATURES MAY BE ACHIEVED.
