* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  EAST CENTRAL HAMPDEN COUNTY IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...
  SOUTHWESTERN WORCESTER COUNTY IN CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS...

* UNTIL 800 PM EDT

* AT 705 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN THAT WILL CAUSE
  MINOR URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING. OVERFLOWING POOR DRAINAGE
  AREAS WILL RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.

* RAINFALL RATES UP TO ONE INCH PER HOUR WERE ESTIMATED BY RADAR.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE
  WORCESTER...HOLDEN...SOUTHBRIDGE...AUBURN...OXFORD...CHARLTON...

...A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS MOVING EAST
SOUTHEAST TOWARD NORTHEAST CONNECTICUT...NORTHERN RHODE ISLAND AND
INTO METRO WEST BOSTON...

AT 630 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A
LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM WORCESTER TO
EAST LONGMEADOW...AND WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

HEAVY RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS.  MINOR URBAN AND
POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADS. ALSO HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF PEAS AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH
CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.

WORCESTER...SPRINGFIELD...SHREWSBURY...FRANKLIN...AGAWAM...MILFORD...
WESTBOROUGH...GRAFTON...WEBSTER...SOUTHBRIDGE...BELLINGHAM...

ELLINGTON...TOLLAND...HOPKINTON AND WILBRAHAM.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING WAS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. FOR YOUR
SAFETY...GO INSIDE OR IN A VEHICLE. STAY AWAY FROM OPEN AREAS SUCH AS
BALL FIELDS...GOLF COURSES AND PARKS. WAIT AT LEAST 30 MINUTES AFTER
THE STORMS END TO RESUME OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

THERE WILL AGAIN BE A LOW PROBABILITY OF A FEW THUNDERSTORMS LATE
SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. STORMS MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
