...Strong damaging wind gusts along with heavy rain/drainage
street flooding will impact the first part of the morning rush
hour along and southeast of the Boston to Providence corridor...

Heavy rain along with strong northeast wind gusts between 45 and
55 mph were occurring along and southeast of the Boston to
Providence corridor early this morning. Motorists may encounter
downed tree limbs which may block roadways along with heavy rain
resulting in poor drainage street flooding. This will make for a
a very messy start to the morning rush hour, so please drive with
extra caution and allow extra time to reach your destination.

The good news is that the heaviest of the rain and strongest winds
will be exiting the region between 6 and 8 this morning.
Nonetheless, the first part of the morning rush hour will be
difficult with heavy rain and damaging wind gusts.
