* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTH CENTRAL SUFFOLK COUNTY IN EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS...
  EAST CENTRAL MIDDLESEX COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS...
  SOUTHWESTERN ESSEX COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS...

* UNTIL 1130 AM EDT

* AT 931 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA.  FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO
  BEGIN SHORTLY.

* RADAR WAS ESTIMATING 1.5 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WITH THESE STORMS.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  BOSTON...LYNN...SOMERVILLE...MALDEN...MEDFORD...REVERE...PEABODY...
  ARLINGTON...EVERETT...SALEM...BEVERLY...WOBURN...CHELSEA...
  ANDOVER...NORTH ANDOVER...MELROSE...SAUGUS...DANVERS...WAKEFIELD...
  READING...STONEHAM...WINCHESTER...MARBLEHEAD...WINTHROP...NORTH

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

RAPID FLOODING OF STREETS AND UNDERPASSES IS IMMINENT. DO NOT DRIVE
THROUGH FLOODED ROADS AND FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IN URBAN AREAS
AVOID FLOODED ROADS AND OBEY ROAD CLOSURES.

HAMPSHIRE...NORTHERN RHODE ISLAND AND SOUTHERN RHODE ISLAND.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY. SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE STRONG OR
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY
DOWNPOURS THAT CAUSE URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING. THE
GREATEST RISK FOR THIS WILL BE NORTH AND WEST OF INTERSTATE 495.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
