MASSACHUSETTS...WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...NORTHERN RHODE ISLAND AND
SOUTHERN RHODE ISLAND.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR WINTRY MIX/FREEZING RAIN TO IMPACT THE
INTERIOR LATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY.

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE WILL PASS WEST OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND ON
CHRISTMAS EVE. THIS SYSTEM MAY BRING HEAVY RAINFALL...GUSTY WINDS
AND COASTAL FLOODING CONCERNS. THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY
WITH THIS SYSTEM SO STAY TUNED TO THE LATEST FORECAST.

...MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED TONIGHT...

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT ACROSS SOUTHEAST
MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND. THE SNOW SHOWERS SHOULD THEN
SPREAD WEST ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS...AS WELL AS
NORTHEAST CONNECTICUT. ALL PRECIPITATION SHOULD BE IN THE FORM OF
SNOW...EXCEPT FOR PORTIONS OF CAPE COD AND SOUTHEAST COASTAL
PLYMOUTH COUNTY WHERE IT SHOULD BE MILD ENOUGH FOR RAIN SHOWERS.

SNOW AMOUNTS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM A COATING UP TO 2 INCHES.
MOTORISTS PLANNING TRAVEL TONIGHT SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY
TRAVEL AND SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS.
