* LOCATIONS...BERKSHIRES...AND SOUTHERN VERMONT.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...8 TO 12 INCHES.

* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATES...UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR.

* TIMING...SNOW...HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL CONTINUE TODAY. IT WILL
  THEN TAPER OFF TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS DUE TO SNOW COVERED
  ROADWAYS AND LOW VISIBILITY. LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW AND
  DRIFTING SNOW...MAINLY IN OUTLYING AREAS. SOME ROADS MAY
  BECOME IMPASSABLE.

* WINDS...NORTH 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...MAINLY TEENS.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW
