THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...

* UNTIL 545 PM EDT

* AT 239 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. UP TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
  ALREADY FALLEN IN THE PAST 2 HOURS. ANOTHER ONE TO TWO INCHES OF
  RAIN IS POSSIBLE THROUGH 330 PM. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO
  BEGIN SHORTLY.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  PITTSFIELD...GREAT BARRINGTON...LEE...LENOX...BECKET...
  HOUSATONIC...STOCKBRIDGE...RICHMOND...WEST STOCKBRIDGE...
  MONTEREY...WASHINGTON...ALFORD...TYRINGHAM...
  LENOX HOUSE COUNTRY SHOPS...BERKSHIRE HEIGHTS...WILLIAMSVILLE...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED
ROADS. FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.

* SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...

* UNTIL 515 PM EDT

* AT 209 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN THE
  ADVISORY AREA. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN IN
  ISOLATED LOCATIONS. ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE THROUGH 3 PM.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR NON SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH TONIGHT. ANY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF POOR
DRAINAGE...URBAN...OR LOW LYING AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ON MONDAY.
ALONG WITH THE CONTINUED THREAT FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS MAY APPROACH SEVERE LIMITS.
