...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN BALTIMORE...HOWARD...NORTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY AND NORTH
CENTRAL ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTIES AND SOUTHWESTERN BALTIMORE CITY...

AT 101 AM EDT...FLOODING CONTINUED ON THE UPPER PATUXENT AND LITTLE
PATUXENT RIVERS...AND THE GWYNNS FALLS AND LOWER PATAPSCO RIVERS.
THE MOST SIGNIFICANT FLOODING REMAINING IS ON THE LITTLE
PATUXENT...WHERE THE RIVER IS STILL RISING FROM COLUMBIA TO ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY. SEVERAL ROADS ARE REPORTED CLOSED...INCLUDING US 29
NEAR COLUMBIA TOWN CENTER.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
BALTIMORE...COLUMBIA...OLNEY...PIKESVILLE...ELKRIDGE...ELLICOTT
CITY...TOWSON...CATONSVILLE...WOODLAWN...RANDALLSTOWN...MILFORD
MILL...LOCHEARN...ARBUTUS...REDLAND...BROOKLYN PARK...PUMPHREY...
SAVAGE-GUILFORD...SCAGGSVILLE...ILCHESTER AND LINTHICUM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

STAY AWAY OR BE SWEPT AWAY. RIVER BANKS AND CULVERTS CAN BECOME
UNSTABLE AND UNSAFE.

warning for the following rivers in Maryland...

  Seneca Creek at Dawsonville affecting Montgomery County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Never attempt to drive through a flooded roadway...this is how most
flood deaths result.

The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The Seneca Creek at Dawsonville.
* Until later this morning.
* At 1 AM Sunday the stage was 6.4 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by overnight last night and crest
  near 7.6 feet by overnight last night. The river will fall below
  flood stage by overnight last night.
* Impact...At 7.5 feet...Portions of the Seneca Creek Greenway are
  flooded. A small portion of Berryville Road west of Darnestown
  begins to flood.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 7.6 feet
  on Feb 4 2016.
