...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN BALTIMORE...HOWARD...NORTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY AND NORTH
CENTRAL ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTIES AND SOUTHWESTERN BALTIMORE CITY...

AT 228 AM EDT...FLOODING CONTINUED ON THE LITTLE PATUXENT
RIVER...THE GWYNNS FALLS...AND LOWER PATAPSCO RIVER. FLOODING WAS
ABOUT TO BEGIN ON THE HAWLINGS RIVER. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT FLOODING
REMAINING IS ON THE LITTLE PATUXENT...WHERE THE RIVER IS STILL
RISING FROM COLUMBIA TO ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. SEVERAL ROADS ARE
REPORTED CLOSED...INCLUDING US 29 NEAR COLUMBIA TOWN CENTER.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
BALTIMORE...COLUMBIA...OLNEY...PIKESVILLE...ELKRIDGE...ELLICOTT
CITY...TOWSON...CATONSVILLE...WOODLAWN...RANDALLSTOWN...MILFORD
MILL...LOCHEARN...ARBUTUS...REDLAND...BROOKLYN PARK...PUMPHREY...
SAVAGE-GUILFORD...SCAGGSVILLE...ILCHESTER AND LINTHICUM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

STAY AWAY OR BE SWEPT AWAY. RIVER BANKS AND CULVERTS CAN BECOME
UNSTABLE AND UNSAFE.

AT 1246 AM EDT...REPORTING GAUGES INDICATED THE LITTLE PATUXENT
RIVER WAS EXCEEDING ITS FLOOD STAGE AND STILL RISING RAPIDLY
DOWNSTREAM OF COLUMBIA...INCLUDING THE SAVAGE AREA. THIS FLOODING
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS AND MOVE DOWNSTREAM TOWARD
BOWIE. THE FLOOD WARNING MAY HAVE TO BE EXTENDED IN TIME.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
COLUMBIA...BOWIE...SEVERN...CROFTON...ELKRIDGE...ODENTON...FORT
MEADE...SAVAGE-GUILFORD...SCAGGSVILLE...JESSUP...SAVAGE...FULTON...
PRINCE GEORGES STADIUM AND GEORGETOWN.
