20 MPH.

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN OF UP TO ONE INCH IN ONE HOUR IS POSSIBLE WITH
THESE SHOWERS. THIS WILL CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND
POTENTIALLY CAUSE FLOODING OF LOW LYING OR POOR DRAINAGE

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF MARYLAND AND CENTRAL
  VIRGINIA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN MARYLAND...ANNE
  ARUNDEL...CHARLES...PRINCE GEORGES AND SOUTHERN BALTIMORE. IN
  CENTRAL VIRGINIA...KING GEORGE.

* UNTIL 2 AM EDT MONDAY

* A PLUME OF TROPICAL MOISTURE WILL BE SPREADING NORTH ALONG AND
  JUST EAST OF THE INTERSTATE 95 CORRIDOR THIS EVENING. WIDESPREAD
  RAINFALL OVER AN INCH WILL BE LIKELY IN THIS AREA. LOCALIZED
  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF TWO TO FOUR INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN JUST
  A FEW HOURS.

* LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS MAY EXPERIENCE RAPIDLY RISING
  WATER RESULTING IN FLOODING. IN ADDITION, SMALL STREAMS AND
  CREEKS MAY OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
