* HUMIDITY...AROUND 30 PERCENT THROUGH SUNSET THIS EVENING. 15 TO 25
  PERCENT LATE THURSDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH THROUGH EARLY
  THIS EVENING. 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH LATE THURSDAY
  MORNING AND AFTERNOON.

* FUEL MOISTURE...LESS THAN 8 PERCENT.

CHESAPEAKE BAY...TIDAL POTOMAC RIVER...AND ADJACENT COUNTIES IN
CENTRAL MARYLAND AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS WELL AS THE DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A GALE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WATERS TODAY. A SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WATERS TONIGHT.

A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA THROUGH
EARLY THIS EVENING. THE COMBINATION OF GUSTY WINDS...LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY AND LOW FUEL MOISTURES WILL ENHANCE THE THREAT FOR THE
SPREAD OF WILDFIRES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY MORNING
THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON FOR THE BALTIMORE METROPOLITAN AREA AND
PORTIONS OF THE WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA. THE COMBINATION OF
GUSTY WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND LOW FUEL MOISTURES WILL
ENHANCE THE THREAT FOR THE SPREAD OF WILDFIRES.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WATERS THURSDAY. A
SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED FOR PORTIONS OF THE WATERS
FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
