CENTRAL MARYLAND AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS WELL AS THE DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH EARLY EVENING
FOR FREEZING RAIN AND SOME SLEET. PLEASE SEE WSWLWX FOR FURTHER
DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT WHICH COULD
COMBINE WITH SNOWMELT FOR A LOCALIZED FLOODING THREAT.

SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE WEDNESDAY
NIGHT INTO THURSDAY. THERE IS UNCERTAINTY WITH REGARD TO HOW MUCH
SLEET MAY MIX IN WITH THE SNOW. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS.

  AND NORTH CENTRAL MARYLAND.

* HAZARD TYPES...FREEZING RAIN AND SOME SLEET.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A GLAZE WITHIN THE METRO AREAS TO ONE TENTH
  OF AN INCH IN THE FAR NORTH AND WEST SUBURBS OF BALTIMORE AND
  WASHINGTON DC TO THE MASON DIXON LINE.

* TIMING...THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...ROADS MAY BECOME ICY...MORE LIKELY NORTH OF
  WASHINGTON DC. TRAVELING WILL BE DANGEROUS.

* WINDS...SOUTH 5 TO 15 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S...EXCEPT UPPER 20S IN THE FAR
  NORTH AND WEST SUBURBS.
