This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Gale Warning is in effect for much of the Chesapeake Bay and
tidal Potomac river until 8 AM this morning, and portions of the
central Chesapeake Bay until 3 PM.

A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect through 1 PM this afternoon
for Anne Arundel County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON HAS
ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM
EDT THIS AFTERNOON. THE COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.

* LOCATIONS...SHORELINE IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...2 TO 2.25 FEET ABOVE NORMAL.

* TIMING...AROUND THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE. HIGH TIDE AT ANNAPOLIS
  CITY DOCK IS AT 8:27 AM TUESDAY.

* IMPACTS...WATER IS EXPECTED TO COME UP THROUGH STORM DRAINS,
  APPROACHING BUSINESSES ON DOCK STREET IN ANNAPOLIS. WATER IS
  EXPECTED TO APPROACH THE MARITIME MUSEUM AND BEGIN TO COVER
  BOWYER ROAD AT THE NAVAL ACADEMY. SHORELINE INUNDATION IS LIKELY
  IN OTHER LOW LYING AREAS.

FORECAST TIDES ARE REFERENCED TO MEAN LOWER LOW WATER
(MLLW) AND MEAN HIGHER HIGH WATER (MHHW) UNLESS
OTHERWISE NOTED. TIME OF HIGH TOTAL TIDE IS
APPROXIMATE TO NEAREST HOUR. TOTAL TIDE COMBINES THE
NORMAL TIDE AND DEPARTURE FROM NORMAL. FLOOD IMPACT
IS BASED ON THE TOTAL TIDE AND WAVES WHERE APPLICABLE.
