This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected tonight. Heavy
rain capable of producing localized flooding is possible. There
is also the potential for isolated severe thunderstorms tonight.

A Gale Warning is in effect for all waters tonight. Showers and
thunderstorms will likely produce gusty winds on the waters.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected into Saturday.
Heavy rain, capable of producing localized flooding is possible
into Saturday morning.

A Gale Warning is in effect for all waters Saturday morning.
Showers and thunderstorms will likely produce gusty winds on the
waters.

Spotters are asked to report significant weather using standard
operating procedures.

ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO
2 PM EDT SATURDAY.

  HARFORD COUNTIES.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...AROUND ONE FOOT ABOVE NORMAL.

* IMPACTS...FOR ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY...WATER IS EXPECTED TO POND IN
  THE PARKING LOT AT ANNAPOLIS CITY DOCK. MINOR SHORELINE
  INUNDATION IS POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE. FOR BALTIMORE...FLOODING IS
  EXPECTED AT THE END OF THAMES STREET. WATER ALSO NEARLY COVERS
  THE PROMENADE AT THE DRAGON BOAT DOCK IN THE INNER HARBOR. FOR
  HARFORD COUNTY...WATER IS EXPECTED TO GO OVER THE BULKHEAD AT
  THE HAVRE DE GRACE YACHT BASIN IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.

FORECAST TIDES ARE REFERENCED TO MEAN LOWER LOW WATER
(MLLW) AND MEAN HIGHER HIGH WATER (MHHW) UNLESS
OTHERWISE NOTED. TIME OF HIGH TOTAL TIDE IS
APPROXIMATE TO NEAREST HOUR. TOTAL TIDE COMBINES THE
NORMAL TIDE AND DEPARTURE FROM NORMAL. FLOOD IMPACT
IS BASED ON THE TOTAL TIDE AND WAVES WHERE APPLICABLE.
