THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON DC HAS
ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM
THIS EVENING TO 8 AM EDT FRIDAY.

* LOCATION...ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...AROUND 1 FOOT ABOVE NORMAL.

* TIMING...AROUND THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE TONIGHT. HIGH TIDE AT
  ANNAPOLIS IS AT 2:58 AM.

* IMPACTS...WATER IS EXPECTED TO POND IN THE PARKING LOT AT
  ANNAPOLIS CITY DOCK. MINOR SHORELINE INUNDATION IS POSSIBLE
  ELSEWHERE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening.
Thunderstorms will contain heavy downpours which may lead to
localized flash flooding. Thunderstorms will also be capable of
producing locally strong winds over the waters this afternoon and
evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Heat indices will approach 105 degrees on Friday. A heat advisory
may be required.

Scattered thunderstorms will be capable of producing locally
damaging wind gusts and large hail Friday afternoon and evening.
Isolated flash flooding is also possible due to locally heavy
downpours.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Limited spotter activation may be needed Friday afternoon and
evening.
