METROPOLITAN AREAS...AS WELL AS PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN
SHENANDOAH VALLEY...WEST CENTRAL MARYLAND...AND CENTRAL VIRGINIA.

WHILE AVERAGE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER A THREE HOUR PERIOD WILL
BE AROUND ONE-HALF INCH OR LESS IN MOST AREAS...THERE ARE SOME
LOCALLY HEAVIER BANDS OF RAIN THAT WILL CROSS THE AREA. EVENING
COMMUTERS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION...AS STANDING WATER ON ROADWAYS
COULD LEAD TO HYDROPLANING. USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS TO MAKE
YOURSELF MORE VISIBLE. SMALL STREAMS AND CULVERTS MAY ALSO
EXPERIENCE RISING WATER.
