THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE MARYLAND PORTION OF THE
CHESAPEAKE BAY...TIDAL POTOMAC RIVER...AND ADJACENT COUNTIES IN
CENTRAL MARYLAND AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS WELL AS THE DISTRICT OF
COLUMBIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT
FOR THE MARYLAND CHESAPEAKE BAY SOUTH OF POOLES ISLAND AND THE
LOWER TIDAL POTOMAC RIVER FROM COBB ISLAND TO SMITH POINT.

MINOR TIDAL FLOODING IS POSSIBLE NEAR HIGH TIDE LATE TONIGHT FOR
SENSITIVE AREAS ALONG THE WESTERN SHORE OF THE MARYLAND
CHESAPEAKE BAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

MINOR TIDAL FLOODING IS POSSIBLE NEAR HIGH TIDE SUNDAY MORNING
ALONG THE WESTERN SHORE OF THE MARYLAND CHESAPEAKE BAY AND THE
SHORE OF THE UPPER TIDAL POTOMAC RIVER.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND GUSTS...LARGE
HAIL...ISOLATED TORNADOES AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD
LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. THE BEST CHANCE FOR THE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED FOR PORTIONS OF THE WATERS
MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.
