This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of dense fog are possible east of I-95 early this morning,
especially adjacent to the tidal Potomac River and Maryland
portion of the Chesapeake Bay. Dense fog is possible over the
waters through mid-morning as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A Gale Warning will likely be required for at least portions of
the waters Tuesday.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

.NOW...
Patchy dense fog is expected across portions of southern Maryland
early this morning, especially adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay and
tidal Potomac River. Visibility will be reduced to a quarter mile
or less at times. Motorists should exercise extra caution, reduce
speed and use low beam headlights.
